INTERNAL COACH SOLUTIONS
Is your organization considering a coaching program to help
your good employees become even better?
We know that there are literally hundreds of options for
bringing coaching into your company. Sorting through over
200 coach training programs to determine which are best suited
to your unique organizational needs is a daunting task at
best! Then you must choose between live training, teleclasses,
and e-learning. Isn’t there another option?
Coaching and Training Solutions (CTS) has a solution that
can eliminate these difficult decisions. Using a proven model
of flexible learning through our unique “content kits,”
with a growing library of up to 50 different content areas,
your staff can learn coaching while they work and have validated
curriculum to use with developing leaders and other staff
they coach.
Here’s how it works:
Phase One: Coach Training
1. You determine the type of coaching skills in which want
to train your staff. Options include career coaching, comprehensive
coaching, executive coaching, internal coaching, and more.
(See catalog of coaching
kits here) Let our marketing staff help you decide if
you wish,
contact us for help.
2. We provide content kits for each staff member you want
to train. Kits include books, workbooks, audio CD programs,
online quizzes, and other learning materials, depending on
the kit chosen.
3. If desired, you may use
our training solutions to offer “train-the-trainer”
programs to any staff who will be leading or facilitating
your staff’s training. However, this is not required;
hundreds of individuals have successfully completed our training
programs using a purely self-paced learning approach and are
now using coaching in their organizations or as an independent
business.
4. You organize brown-bag lunch discussions of the content
among those studying coaching with us, and/or arrange one-on-one
mentoring. Studies show that when you blend training with
follow-on coaching, you get four times better results compared
to doing live training alone.
5. Your coaches become certified through us after completing
their coaching course and a final exam, and conducting 12
hours of coaching with other staff or trial clients. They
are then ready to then move to Phase Two.
Phase Two: Coaching with Curriculum
1. Your coaches, in conjunction with Chief Coaching Officer
if any, determine who in the organization will be eligible
for coaching.
2. You peruse our
catalog of content kits in the topic areas of leadership
development, career/employee development, and retirement lifestyle
planning to become familiar with the curricula available as
templates for the coaching process.
3. As individual clients complete intake forms and state their
coaching goals, you obtain the content kit(s) that meet those
needs. For example, if an executive wants to develop communication
skills, there is a content kit for several sessions of coaching
on that topic. If a new manager wants to be coached on supervisory
skills, project management, or how to conduct an interview,
those topics are also covered. (Volume discounts available.)
The result? You have trained coaches offering coaching services
that have skills-building content as well as consistent results.
Your return on investment is much greater than by simply obtaining
one-time general coach training and leaving it up to the individual
coach’s discretion what is covered in each session and
what the deliverables will be.
